Java Team Lead – Director – Equity Derivatives Tweet
The Equity derivatives IT function of a global Investment Bank is looking for an experienced, hands-on technical lead to organise the day-to-day development of a number of applications used by the equity derivatives business.
You will be responsible for the overall quality, production stability, design, build and deployment of the applications managed and will be managing a team of 25 developers. You will be expected to manage by example, enabling the team to deliver effectively and to a high standard. This is not a hands-off, management position, nor a theoretical design role. You are expected to spend around 20%/30% of your time coding, with the remainder of your time divided between team facilitation and business face-off.
To be considered for this role you must have a strong core Java development background with experience building high-performance, message based systems. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of systems delivery in a Tech Lead position, (managing teams of 10+ developers) coupled with knowledge of Fund Derivatives.
