An exciting opportunity has arisen with a top-tier bank for a Commodities Product Controller who will be responsible for development, implementation and completion of daily commodity derivatives P&L reporting for the trading desk. Some of the common products included are as follows, Commodity Swaps, Options, Futures Forwards and FX and FX Options, interest Rate hedges and structured trades. The job holder will be responsible for investigation and explanation of movements in the daily P&L including a full attribution based on the Greeks, Month end Market Risk reserving and price testing of revaluation prices in the trading system. The role will require the person to be the key point of contact for Commodity Derivatives P&L issues, so you will be providing advice to the trading desk regarding deal bookings in the global markets transaction processing systems. We are looking for applicants with at least 5 years relevant experience supporting a commodity derivatives trading desk, with experience in P&L attribution and reserving and price testing, so knowledge of derivatives risk and P&L behavior is essential.
