7 Fifty Two Asia are working exclusively on behalf of a top-tier bank to recruit a Murex Specialist who will be responsible for all application support and assistance activities within the Treasury Market Risk area. The incumbent will be sitting within Front Office, acting as the prime link for Murex related matters between Market Risk management, business and technology. You will be the subject matter expert of the Murex suite of tools used within market risk management. Duties will also include providing application support and assistance in the development of Treasury Market Risk Systems and in providing support to SDLC processes for application projects/ enhancements initiatives. We require a candidate that has strong experience with the Murex platform as well as a very strong understanding of Market and Trading Credit Risk Management; you should also have technical knowledge of RDBMS, Unix, Unix Scripting, SQL and Excel/ VBA. Experience in Murex Accounting/ Workflow module will be an added advantage. We are looking for a candidate that has a strong academic background preferably in an Information Technology / Engineering background, the successful candidate must also have at least around 5 years or more relevant experience in a Technical Market / Credit Risk management role.
