7 Fifty Two Asia are working exclusively on behalf of a top-tier bank to recruit a Banking Application Support Analyst – Avaloq.

Role and Responsibility :

•          To provide day-to-day production application support for the user groups of  the Banks Private Banking Core Banking Applications in the Region.

•          To coordinate and perform system maintenance process.

•          To test and rollout new releases of the application, adhering to the best practices of the release management procedures.

•          To manage local and regional initiatives in an effective and timely manner to ensure satisfactory deliverables on time and within budget.

•          To work with vendor/third party support team to provide a seamless support model for the business.

•          To manage production issues respond in a timely manner in accordance to the Service Level Agreement with the Business.

•          To provide quality support service to all users in the region.

Skills and Experience Required :

•          at least 2 years working in Application Support Environment

•          Technical Experience required in the following areas :

                Sun Solaris and shell scripting

                Java and J2EE programming

                SQL, preferably in Oracle environment

                Weblogic Application Server

                experience in Unix

•          Basic Financial product knowledge in the Private Banking sector such as Equities, Money Market, Swaps,  Bonds will be good.

•          Knowledge of Swift and Merva will be an added advantage

•          Ability to perform impact  analysis in a structured manner.

•          Good communication and analytical skills.

•          Familiar with the ITIL Change Release Management Process

•          preferably having worked on Private Banking Core banking solutions.

•          experience with MQ series, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Mercury tools (such as Test Director and Load Runner) and SSH will be an added advantage

•          With a keen interest in providing high service quality and familiar with the demand of a 24x7 support environment.
